What to Expect
Church Information
We understand that when someone visits a Church for the first time it can be a little scary. To help ease that tension here are some things we do in a normal Sunday morning praise and worship service.

You can expect to be welcomed in genuine friendship. The service begins with a song followed by a welcome, announcements and an opening prayer. Next are several more songs to help set the focus on the partaking of the communion table.*  Another song is then sung to help separate the communion from the collection or contribution which is taken up following the song.**

At this time several more songs are sung and a reading from the Word of God, in which we all stand. (It’s what we do) Next is the preaching of a sermon ***  followed by an invitation to respond to the message. During the invitation or as an integral part of it we sing an invitational song followed by any last minute announcements and a closing prayer. At this time the services are ended and visiting and leaving begin

  • (The Lords Supper as we might be more apt to call it.)

** (Visitors should not feel obligated to give but may, if they so choose, The Lord loves giving hearts and hands)

*** (a talk to help grow and encourage the congregation)

Please come and worship with us this Sunday and on into eternity.
