I Told You!

Psalm 72:10-20

 

          What God has ordained to be, who can thwart or overt? God over the years has told different people what He was going to do, and they have been done. This Jesus, who is the Son of God with power and authority is an accumulation of many such events.

·        God said that  out of the seed of woman – Gen.3:15 (Gal.4:4)

·        God said through a young maiden (a virgin) – Isa.7:14  (Mat.1:22-23; Lk.2:7)

·        God said where he would be born – Micah 5:2  (Mat.2:1; Lk2:4-6)

·        God said from whom –

o       Out of Abraham – Gen.17:2, 22:18 (Gal.3:16)

o       Out of Isaac – Gen.21:12 (Heb.11:17-19)

o       Out of David – Psl.132:11; Jer.23:5; (Mat.1:6; Acts 13:23, Rom.1:3)

·        God said kings would come and give gifts – Psl.72:10 (Mat.2:1-11)

·        God said what he would be called – Isa.7:14 (Mat.1:22-23)

·        God said other children would die – Jer.31:51 (Mat.2:16-18)

·        God said he would call him out of Egypt – Hosea 11:1 (Mat.2:15)

·        God would call him his son – Psa.2:7 (Lk.1:32,35)

·        God assigned him the government - Isa.9:6-7 (Acts 2:30-32; Heb.1:8, 12:2)

Jesus is: therefore praise Him this day, He is Lord!
