Royalty’s Sparkle

Rev.21:22-27

^“24 And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.”

          Who do you think ‘the nations’ might be? And who do you think the ‘kings of the earth’ might be? Based on the conclusions of other passages – you! (Rom.5:17; 1Pet.2:9,10; Heb.2:11; Rev.1:5,6, 5:10) ^Heb.2:11 Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. You, who ever you are, if you are in Christ by the fact that you have been born again, you are now royalty.

          Paul in Romans 12:1-3 calls all who are now of that royal birthing to order there life in a manner that honors that royalty. Verse 2 – “Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” He calls (as an Apostle who still has the authority to do so) each of us to labor to bring our life into conformity to who we now are – sons and daughters of the living God. But be mindful that we are not called to be the kind of royalty that is snobbish towards those who are not. As was Jesus in the world, so are we to be its servants. We as servants to each other and to the world ought not to be arrogant. (Rom.12:3 “…Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought…”)  We are called to be transformed in our thinking and in our actions which means we are being challenged to lay down the old habits of our life and develop a new way of living; one that befits who we are. And further we are called to have the same heart as our elder brother, whose name is Jesus, and that of our heavenly Father, which is to love as they themselves love.

          We are compelled to become pro-active in regards to the lost state of existence of all those in the world who do not yet know The Almighty Creator and His Son Jesus, who now sits on the throne of the Father. One of the things that we can do as a response to the worlds ignorance is be a part of their enlightenment concerning this Jesus. You  can be a participant in the distribution of the light. The Holy Word of God. Whithout the Holy Word of God to enlighten the hearts and minds about God and his love and plans for them, how will the lost know?
